Our Story

It started on
the Red Line.

One day while riding the Red Line, Stephon reached out to Royce wondering if he'd be interested in starting an organization to bring yoga to Black folks. Since then, they've connected hundreds of people across identity to life-affirming wellness practices — from yoga to reading groups.

Together, they're committed to building a world where Black folx are well. Not eventually. Now.

"Individual healing is a collective act of liberation."

Our Vision

A world with no barriers
to wellness.

We envision a world where there are no barriers to wellness and well-being. In this world there is a steadfast commitment to reducing harm, empowering communities, and expanding possibilities for all people in all places, at all times.

This world provides access and resources for individuals to take care of their wellness and communities able to provide for well-being. In this world there is little to no reliance on the tools of power, control, and domination — instead grace, mercy, and justice prevail.

"Together, we're committed to building a world where Black folx are well."
